Full primary healing usually takes from 10 to 14 days; however, the final restoration of color and skin structure occurs gradually over several months.
During recovery, it is especially important to follow the doctor's recommendations:
• avoid direct sunlight;
• regularly use moisturizing and healing agents;
• apply sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.
It is also temporarily recommended to give up the swimming pool, intense physical activity, alcohol, and smoking, as this can slow down the regeneration process.
